Guest guest
Hi The connection is that Sjogrens's Syndrome is another autoimmune disease, as Hahsimoto's is. You need to get your GP to test to see if you nave antibodies to your thyroid (if we have already gone through this, forgive me, but there are so many messages I can't retain all the individual info for each member). Hashimoto's means you have antibodies to your thyroid and will eventually destroy the tissue altogether. If you have one autoimmune disease, you are likely to have others. Have a look at this link and it should tell you all you need to know. Luv - Sheila Hi everyoneI have just dragged myself(bad few days) to the opticians to try and sort my new glasses out. The topic of Sjögren's came up, as I mentioned that my eyes (well my good one) was very dry and giving me vision problems. He mentioned that I could have Sjögren's.
