Caution: Since Cholacol encourages gallbladder contractions to release bile to aid in the breakdown of fats, people who have gallstones should not take Cholacol or A-F Betafood®. In the presence of gallstones, Betafood®, Choline, and Disodium Phosphate are the supplements of choice to promote healthy gallbladder function. That seems like a contradictory statement to me. First sentence says not to take A-F Betafood and second sentence says Betafood is a supplement of choice to promote GB function. I wonder which it is.
