Guest guest
The tomato juice sounds like a helpful addition. But I have GERD and wonder if it's possible to do the flush successfully without lying on the right side. If my stomach or esophagus feels acidy on any given night, I try to sleep on my left side or even on a wedge. Lying on the right side tends to create a GERD episode for me. I am just worried that drinking the Epsom salt water, plus the oil and the citrus, will create an acid problem to begin with. Then, if I lie on the right side, the acid will climb back up the esophagus. (Sorry to be gross.) Also, can we drink some water after taking the oil/lemon mixture? I mean just a few ounces to help with the bad taste at some point during the evening--or to counteract the acid if I were to get a GERD episode. Thanks for any ideas. The lite is not as good as the Extra virgin. The lite is mixed with other oils and that are not good for this. IF you will add 1/2 cup of tomato juice to the olive oil and lemon or grapefruit you wont have the nausea either. It is always necessary to lay on the right side when you go to bed so as to keep the mix down. This makes it go to the liver and GB and stay in the body. I have done this and I know what I am saying. I wont do it without the tomato juice in it. The acid in the tomato juice is very good for this too. Guest guest
Hi Margh! I have GERD as well and I'm worried about doing the flushes too. I have been diagnosed with GB stones.Citrus, tomato juice, I'm scared that I will have another GERD attack if I drink this mixture. In the instructions for the liver cleanse, it says to lye on your back, does this mean all night or just for the first 20 minutes? Then it asks us to take a sedative to put us to sleep. Those of us with GERD should be a little worried about taking the mixture and " sleeping pills " . What if our stomach acid come up when we're sound asleep or we have to vomit, that sounds like suicide waiting to happen.Just something to think about. Guest guest
What gb flush website are you guys referring too? The site shouldn't be advocating prescription sleeping pills during a flush, thats just silly. The amino acid ornithine does an amazing job of removing ammonia from the brain which can keep anyone awake. I take anywhere from 3 to 6 of these at least a couple hours after drinking the oil and grapefruit. OR you can take activated charcoal (2 pills) with about half a teaspoon of bentonite clay with a small glass of water. Both of these will help mop up the toxins and heavy metals dumped out from the liver and gb. Make sure you take them at least 2 hours AFTER the oil and citrus juices. Don't lye on your back right away. You need to lye on your Right side for at least 2 hours, so the ingredients of the flush pool at the bile duct opening in the small intestine. After that you can lye on your back if you want. Some of my best flushes I managed to lye on my right side all night (doesn't happen often gets too uncomfortable). Guest guest
Oh about GERD, I used to have this until I cured H Pylori. Anyone with GERD needs to be tested for this bacterium which can live in the stomach. Having an H Pylori infection is also a sign that your stomach is not producing enough HCL. I tried the antibiotic regiem for this, didnt work. Then I tried manuka honey, after 2 bottles (1 teaspoon 2x a day) I retested and it was negative. My stomach felt SO much better. No more GERD either. I got Manuka's that had a UMF (unique manuka factor) of above 15 Hope that helps, Brad When we use the oil/grapefruit > > juice flush we started using the lite > > > olive oil and the tendency to vomit is not as strong since the > lite oil > > > doesn't have the nasty taste that regular does. > > > > > > Bill > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > __________________________________________________ > > >
