Guest guest
Sparrow, In answer to your question of what am I doing. I am on my fourth day of the Master Cleanse I am also using Arise and Shine products. My concern is for the DH that the salt water flushes cause. Is this normal cleansing, pure fluid runs out of me. I am drinking lemonade, about a gallon a day. Three times a day I am taking 1tbls bentonite with 2tsp pysluim husks. I am also taking Herbal Nutrition and Choppers between these. Because of the absence of food, taking so many pills is causing my stomach to reject them. Just the thought of another pill turns my stomach. So today I will not be taking the pills. Because of the DH I have reduced the Salt Water flush to once per day in the evening. Any suggestions is appreciated. > From: " sparrow " <sparrow@...> > > can you tell me the step by step process that you have done so far? > thanks > sparrow > > >From: " ABRS " <abrs@...> > > > >I am on my third day of the Master Cleanse with Arise and Shine products > incorporated into the cleanse. Guest guest
He does mention that you could do a 24 hr cleanse and that you could start that one at noon one day and finish it at noon the next day. I'd have trouble staying committed for much longer than that. I want to try this, one day at a time, for a few weekends, and maybe go longer later on. I think I'd have trouble working while on it. Guest guest
I don't know if I'm an expert---but I have done the master cleanse. It is an easy cleanse to do. I used the cayanne, but my husband wouldn't use it so I made a fresh ginger tea instead. I think it is a great first cleanse. Guest guest
Fasting is only dangerous when breaking improperly or cheating. Fasting done right is healthy, done wrong can be dangerous. Though I can say that during my first seven days of fasting while cravings run high I allow my coffee's to regain my commitment. After seven days my appetite completely vanishes and I give up all bad habits including my love of coffee. I have found if I have fiber, ANYTHING to eat or non strained juices my appetite never goes away and the fast gets broken. Bernadette I have done the Master Cleanse for 7 days at the most. I didn't use cayenne. I saw my skin clear up, my weight dropped dramatically, I had energy and others told me I was 'glowing'. Overall, it is wonderful, I didn't even feel hungry!!!!! I would say that it is a wonderful cleanse. My only problem was I was so used to eating (a bit of an addict) so I would run too food if something was too stressful. I hope my next cleanse will be better.

Guest guest
Fasting should be down carefully and with what you are most able to succeed at. All fasting is beneficial if done knowledgeably and broken properly. I am on my 6th day today. I use a combo of the master cleanse and fresh juices. The master cleanse is beneficial when my days are to busy to juice. The juices, especially leafy green clear my complexion and give me a healthy glow. I run while I fast and take Homozon. Guest guest
Duncan, I am fascinated by this idea. Because I was not familiar w/the master cleanse, I took a look on the web. It appears that the drink is lemon juice, distilled water, maple syrup and cayenne pepper. Since maple syrup and cayenne pepper (dried herb) are not on the candida diet, what do you recommend instead? I am interested in anyone's experience w/this. Maeve
Guest guest
Hi Maeve, I was on this for five days. Maple syrup and all. I had NO problems with the maple syrup, you use such a small amount. And I feel great! My bloating is completely gone. My sinuses have cleared up, too. And I broke the fast as they say to, with orange juice. (I haven't had " taboo " orange juice in 10 years) No ill effects at all! My big problem was always sweets. I've been off for 5 days now and all I crave are vegetables! This has never happened to me!! I've eaten a little protein, some chicken, but it didn't taste right. Constipation was a constant problem, but I'm going regularly 2 to 3 times a day. I could cry from happiness over that alone. I'm sleeping better and I actually made it through an entire workout with energy to spare! I usually have to stop halfway through from exhaustion. I say it's worth a shot. It's tough, but it was just the thing I needed to clear out some " junk. " You're supposed to stay on it for 10 days, but I just wasn't able to. Just make sure you're doing the sea salt in the morning and the laxative tea at night so that you're removing the toxins that are being released. I had one day that I didn't do that, and I thought for sure I would die. Good luck to you!
Guest guest
Love the master cleanse idea, but I have serious reservations about diabetics, candida patients or people with IBS-type disorders taking that much sugar. I'm really against carbs, even natural syrups. Maple syrup should be mostly glucose, which is a slightly slower release than fructose. I've never done a master cleanse myself. Guest guest
Thank You vary much for your response. I may try the MC after I take ~6months trying to rid myself of this Candida overgrowth. -Patty >Love the master cleanse idea, but I have serious reservations about >diabetics, candida patients or people with IBS-type disorders taking that >much sugar. > >I'm really against carbs, even natural syrups. Guest guest
Hi... Just checking in...I have started a parasite cleanse with Dr. 's Formula ( found at health food store)...don't know if I have them, but must have...then adding the Sone Colon Cleanser #7 and # 9 tomorrow along with the former. After that I will do the Master Cleanse (already had the book...but enjoyed the site posted here) along with watermelon. Meeting a guy I really care about in Vegas in Sept. Hope I can lose some weight, well a lot actually, but most important is that I hope to be feeling better. It's just a business meeting, but one always looks better if one feels better. Anyway, it's going to be a wild ride the next few weeks. Smiles to all, Shirley dimonds68 <Dimonds6881@...> wrote: Hello , This is my best Summer for me healthwise. Guest guest
Yep, love it, Do it three times a year for a week. Went 10 days about a month ago. Real simple and effective. Works like a charm.         Posted by: " lightcondor@... " lightcondor@... levyteresa  Date: Sun Aug 13, 2006 3:23 pm (PDT) Has anyone used the Master Cleanse? I think it is also called the lemonade cleanse. I would love to hear anyone's personal experience with this. Terry

Guest guest
Thanks but this is not what I was referring to. The master cleanse is a lemonade fast for a varying number of days. Dr Schulze is good, if you can get beyond the obnoxious website and the poor customer service, but it is an entirely different program than the master cleanse. Guest guest
I also like to know ..because the Almighty cleanse on TV seems to have people talk about gaining weight. How that happens when you are cleansing I don't get it. Lina lightcondor@... wrote: Has anyone used the Master Cleanse? I think it is also called the lemonade cleanse. Guest guest
Hmmm, cast not your pearls before swine lest they be trampled underfoot... At least they are doing the cleanse. I question the usefullness of it for long term weight reduction. It's easy to loose weight, it's much trickier to not put it right back on once you are done with a fast. Much better to exercise and deal with any underlying emotional food cravings and addictions but different strokes for different folks. Guest guest
Gretchen, I am a firm believer if you have a leaky gut and IBS, it may be smart to repair your gut and intestines before doing a drastic cleanse.... Be careful is all I am saying.... I don't know if this is true or not, but I talked to someone who does the colon hydrotherapy and she advised against this method on me, since I had IBS and leaky gut..... I am taking turkey rhubarb, it has healed my IBS and Leaky Gut and I know am regular going to the bathroom... I still have not done a cleanse, I am giving my gut some time to heal first.... Guest guest
Gretchen . . . The Master Cleanse is a "quick fix" program that you do and move on from there . . .staying on a healthy diet with supplements. I know I've told you about "The Maker's Diet" before . . . Rubin explains all about creating a healthy digestive system so you can absorb nutrients . . .and the nutrients you need. Please read it! It will answer all your questions - and then some. Guest guest
Terri P, I fought that IBS for a long time, my implants gave it to me... After getting them removed I keep trying different things to see what would work... I found this turkey rhubarb it can be bought on www.herbfinder.com and it has cured my IBS... I also credit my diet and no digestive enzymes what so ever.... I noticed when I was on digestive enzymes it was breaking my food down to fast and giving me the IBS too.... So I am thankful the turkey rhubarb worked... This turkey rhubarb is also wonderful for diverticuliutus and healing the intestinal wall.... So you may want to try I think others are trying it so maybe they will chime in with there experience with it... I am more regular and no more IBS so I am happy....
