Guest guest
Hi Everybody, (spell checker OFF) I'm doing so-so with the GB. No real attacks like weeks ago, but stone presence is definitely evident and making itself known. Symptoms have changed from attacks to just an occasional ill-feeling, achiness. I'm taking some Advil these last few days and that seems to help, although I know some advise against it. Diet has changed as I was advised. Liquids seem to be the key and I plan to schedule an appointment with a local MD who is also an alternative medicine practitioner and sells the A-F vitamins. Let's hope that helps. Also, as I said before, have scripts for another ultrasound and some blood work. Last UltraS was about 2 to 3 years ago with an 11mm stone. I think the stone was classified " mobile " and is the reason for my more recent dillemmas...i.e. stone moving around. Looking forward to my next GB flush to commence soon, maybe this week. My biggest concern has been weight loss from dietary changes and I've been trying to eat good breads to help with that... even some pasta. I don't want to look skeletal just to save my GB. Ensure any good for that? It is said that those who (like myself) have had bowel surgery are more prone to develop gall stones, although I know that I've had this stone long before my surgery... first acting up in in 1991 on a visit to the UK. Forgot to mention that this past Friday morning I woke up sick... jitters, a little nauseous and faint which I attribute to foods I ate the day/night before. Some wrong foods. It took several hours for the feeling and knot in my gut to pass that day. Since then, have just been a little more tired than usual and achey. I have been doing some heavier physical labor recently, so maybe some of this is natural. Seems GB acts up too when I start to get hungry... or have been waiting for food. Would really like to hear from " Dale " and his stone passing. Dave tells me the story, but I'd like to hear it first hand. Dale, ya still around? How are you feeling these days? Any links to your experience? Still flushing? All for now... Kind regards, Fran ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
