Lots of choices. Amber Celery seed and aloe vera juice can help a LOT with gout in prevention if it turns out to be that. Not used for quickly getting rid of a current bout though... .. Guest guest
Thank you , that was very informative. I do, however, use cayenne pepper every day. I don't know if this is in the category of spices that aren't good for the gall bladder, but it is good for inflammation and healing and I don't suffer any side effects from it, and I enjoy it. Also, I take lecithin in capsules, are granules better? These are very irritating to the area. I too love the hot foods, especially Mexican foods. I don't eat them any more. and have not for many years. I will not have a removal of my GB so I take care by correcting my diet. Also a diet high in fats are a major contributor to the problem. It is important to do flushes to remove stones from the GB. If you let a dr remove the GB then the stones will have to store in the liver and that is even worse. People do not realize the problems with cutting out the GB. I have seen people do it and live with problems from now on. When you have a liver/gallbladder problem then you are going to have digestion problems too. Surprised? well, it is very true, and I strongly recommend a pancreatin for helping to digest this high cholesterol in these areas. If you will do the GB flushes with the following method you will get good results. I followed it at the time I was very ill and with the use of a colonic machine I was able to get myself well. Colon cleansing is very important too. The flush is as follows that I recommend for you. For a month once a week, first thing in the morning, make in the blender 1 large pearl garlic, 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil, 1 c. tomato juice, 1 teaspoon turmeric. Blend this and drink 8 ounces and wait 15 minutes and drink the rest. Wait 1 1/2 hour before eating food. Do this for a month and then do the flush. The flush is done at night at bedtime. It is recommended to eat lightly all day long and drink as much water and apple juice as you can as the apple juice helps with stimulating the organs and elimination. At bedtime make up your drink with 1 c. olive oil, 1/2 c. lemon juice, 1/2 c. tomato juice and 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder. I added the turmeric last night and it was good. Made the drink easier to drink. Then in the morning you drink 1 tablespoon of Epsom Salt in 8 ounces water with the juice 1/2 lemon. The lemon makes it easier to drink and is good for this anyway. Make sure you drink plenty of water too or you can be come dehydrated. Water makes the salts work more and better for eliminating the stones out of the GB. I hope all this will help you to get well. Change your diet and eliminate all greasy foods and hot spicy foods. Milk and dairy products are not good either. The only oil I use is extra virgin olive oil. Also get to eating lecithin granules on all your food. It is a big dissolver of fats. High in B vitamins, and will also clean out the arteries and veins of plaque. Regards, I am in China currently, Beijing. I just finished visiting a highly acclaimed eastern medicine hospital. They said the same thing is wrong with me, too much heat in my liver and gallbladder. They recommended herbs for 3 months that are developed for western people, because we do not react to the herbs prescribed for a Chinese person as we should. The liver / gb issues add weight to our waist, possible high bp,cholesterol. ..etc. They liked that I do the liver / gb cleansings - but they say it does not treat the problem or symptoms. I have to cut out hot spicey foods (which I love)...I already stopped coffee (I do the tea), etc... I will try these herbs and tell you all what happens. I did not want to high jack this thread....sorry. ..I have been here so long I forgot how to add a new subject.
