As to lower doses, up until the flush this would be fine as long as your stool

goes liquid and the bowel is fully evacuated. In terms of the moment of the

actual flush I cannot say, the amount neede d would be in terms of the

organ/ductile relaxation. You could always try it and see what the results are,

and if inferior, perform another flush with higher doses as soon as possible.

Your colitis is not only common with gallbladder issues (related) but runs the

risk of being irritated by the high doses of salts. The opposite is also a

possibility; that the magnesium relaxes the peristaltic action and irritation

relieving your colitis immediately. It is kind of a crap shoot.
