Subject: Straight Talk on Anthrax from Top Doc

By J. Gillert

American Forces Press Service

WASHINGTON -- A video interview of Dr. Sue , Assistant

Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs, has been added to the

DoD anthrax information site on the World Wide Web.

During the Armed Forces Radio and Television News Center " 2-

Minute Report " broadcast, talks about the safety and

effectiveness of the vaccinations. She discusses false reports

that some service members had received contaminated injections.

The report can be viewed and heard using Real Video software,

which can be downloaded to government computers free

of charge.

A more detailed print version of the interview also is

available. goes on to discuss the importance of the shots

in protecting service members against weaponized anthrax, which

is nearly 100 percent fatal if you're unprotected. She said the

vaccines work best when used with other protective measures,

such as chemical protection clothing and gas masks.

Both the video and news release can be found under " What's New "

on the <A HREF= " http://www.defenselink.mil/specials/Anthrax/ " > " Countering the

Anthrax Threat " </A>

Web site. The site also contains a detailed, informative history

of anthrax, including a section called " Fact vs. Myth "

that addresses common misconceptions about the

disease, the vaccine and the immunization program.

Defense Secretary S. Cohen directed the DoD-wide

immunization program in late 1997. Before units began receiving

the shots last summer, the Army, as executive agent, set up a

vaccination tracking system to ensure compliance. Cohen also

appointed Dr. Gerald Burrow of Yale University to review and

assess the plan before implementation.

Service members and some mission-essential civilians assigned to

the Persian Gulf region began receiving the six-shot series in

summer 1998. Those in or headed to South Korea began the 18-

month series in September. Cohen said it will take DoD seven

years to inoculate the total force of some 2.4 million active

duty and reserve members.

DoD anthrax information site on the World Wide Web.

During the Armed Forces Radio and Television News Center " 2-

effectiveness of the vaccinations. She discusses false reports - So does that

mean the FDA reports are false??

that some service members had received contaminated injections.

The report can be viewed and heard using Real Video software,

which can be downloaded to government computers free

of charge. - Can they be downloaded on personal computers I assume, or just

government computers??

A more detailed print version of the interview also is

available. goes on to discuss the importance of the shots

in protecting service members against weaponized anthrax, which

is nearly 100 percent fatal if you're unprotected. - But like I said before,

I'd opt for a quick death before I'd opt for a slow agonizing painful death

She said the vaccines work best when used with other protective measures,

such as chemical protection clothing and gas masks. - Once again forgetting

about the antibiotics.

Both the video and news release can be found under " What's New "

on the <A HREF= " http://www.defenselink.mil/specials/Anthrax/ " > " Countering

theAnthrax Threat " </A>

Web site. The site also contains a detailed, informative history

of anthrax, including a section called " Fact vs. Myth " - Didn't Meryl already

prove where the governments facts were really myths??

that addresses common misconceptions about the

disease, the vaccine and the immunization program.

the shots last summer, the Army, as executive agent, set up a

appointed Dr. Gerald Burrow of Yale University to review and

assess the plan before implementation. - But in order for the tracking system

to work, everybody has got to do their part correctly, but we have also seen

that not to be true, my buddy just got the shots, and they didn't record the

batch number.

Service members and some mission-essential civilians assigned to

the Persian Gulf region began receiving the six-shot series in

summer 1998. Those in or headed to South Korea began the 18-

danger of a terrorist or hostile country's attack???

ia,

I have the SAME problem with my inlaws!

They think I should just listen to the Dr.'s and do what the Dr.'s say. If I did that would still be sleeping in his car seat and we would still be sitting around watching his curve progress. 6 months and 5 Dr.'s later will be in a cast on March 11.

I know Christa, the day I told my mom that I was taking Mia in for a well baby visit and shot, but that I was going to mention her kind of tipping her toe a bit as she was learning to walk, I was told that I shouldn't as I was severly pidgeon toed as a baby and I did'nt want to put her through the bracing I had to wear... Had I not asked they would have not found the vertebrae, syrinx etc etc....ia

I'm looking forward to reading his report - do you suppose the

oxytocin level goes down when ssri and/or cbt/erp treatment succeeds

in taming the ocd??

And (here's something for our researcher members)what do we already

know about manipulating this chemical? Foods that increase or

decrease it? . . . exercise? . . . cyclical hormonal levels? . . .

I find this to be an intriguing new path of thought about my son's

behaviors over the years . . .

Hi

I don't really know whether Dr Easton actually DOES follow the BTA protocol or even think like the BTA - but he does obviously look to them for guidance. I couldn't find any contact details for him, but have sent the two responses about Armour and T4/T3 combination therapy to somebody who will, hopefully, pass them on to Dr Easton. If you have contact details, let me know and I will send them to him direct.

We need to get this information out far and wide.
