Guest guest
Thats one of the best ones ,other than their detox support. All their probiotics are high quality. They have many strains, so you could really chose anyone you want. If you are looking to rotate, try one that has different strains than the complete. But most of their probiotics have some of the same strains, and they add additional ones. Vital dophhillus plus powder is another one of my favorites. Just one or two strains, can't recall which. You can go to their site, if you haven't already and research it. Guest guest
That's a great one - if it's working, I wouldn't be so quick to change it. How long have you been using it? Guest guest
>Hi ! I run a test tocheck my son yeast and we eliminated with therabiotic in 5 months but we found out he is low in bifidubacterium , Now we are using therabiotic infant formula to increase the levels (bifidu) Klaire probiotics work the best for my son, the only reason we changed is based on test ,I wll recomend check his yeats and bacteria and to see what your child needs and stay with klaire probiotics. Good Luck. Guest guest
I was advised to try this one, but it says it has a strep strain in it, so I'm leary of it. Has anyone had any problems with the strep strain? http://autismhealing.blogspot.com/ Good Probiotic Hello Currently I am giving probiotic called Therbiotic complete from Klaire labs and I would like to switch to a different one. Guest guest
You may be interested in this info from Klaire labs: " There is no evidence of cross-reactivity between S. thermophilus and pathogenic streptococcal species. An examination of the genome of S. thermophilus reveals a lack of the most important genetic determinants of pathogenicity. Of note, one of these determinants, a specific M protein (STM6P) found in group A beta-hemolytic streptococci and to which autistic children have demonstrated immune reactivity, is not present in S. thermophilus suggesting it lacks the important immunodominant epitopes expressed by pathogenic streptococcal species. Also of significance is the fact that PANDAS has never been associated with the presence of streptococcal organisms outside of the oropharyngeal cavity, for example on the skin or in the intestinal tract. Further, there is evidence that probiotic organisms such as S. thermophilus may actually enhance immunity against pathogenic streptococci. In one study, consumption of milk cultured with S. thermophilus and other lactic acid bacteria was found to reduce or eliminate the presence of S. pneumoniae and beta-hemolytic streptococci in the nasal cavities of study participants. The evidence provides little or no basis for believing the possibility of cross-reactivity between non-pathogenic and pathogenic species of streptococci exist, and rather suggests that S. thermophilus may have protective effects against colonization of potentially harmful streptococcus organisms in the upper respiratory tract.
