Just before I went on my hols (to New York – and had a great time

thanks to Amour!) I saw my endo Dr A and he reviewed my thyroid status.

He has been very willing to monitor my progress via blood tests. I

asked him about prescribing (again) and we had a tricky discussion

about his view that it wasn't possible (again). I gave him another copy

of the letter stating that it is Ok. He agreed to talk to the pharmacy

at the hospital and seemed more encouraged when I told him that other

endos and GP's within the NHS prescribe Armour. He wrote to me asking

for the list of doctors. The problem is although I am sure I have seen

such a list I have been unable to find it. I thought it was amongst the

files on this group, but maybe I have seen it on another hypo website.

Could anyone tell me where I might find this list again as it could

make all the difference to Dr A agreeing to prescribe.

Many thanks

And love from

Adrienne

Hi adrienne,

Sheila does not publish the list of docs who have been known to

prescribe Armour for fear of another witch hunt. She will tell you privately

who will in you area if you ask privately.
