Guest guest
Joni, Thanks for your post. I wanted to tell you that your earlier questions and posts as well as those from others that were concerned with autoimmune problems have been very helpful to me. I have been trying different doses of lugol or indoral with varying problems occurring. Your experience helped me to understand the fatigue problem that was getting worse. I started supplementing with 7-Keto (a precursor to DHEA, I think) and got that problem fairly well resolved. Other problems have come up that appear to be possibly autoimmune. I am again rethinking the iodine situation. I may try the nascent form. 's experience of having a better outcome with higher doses vs lower doses is also food for thought since I have mostly experimented with very low dose (1 mg or even less/day) I am very much aware of reading several of the doctors who said not to try this without medical advice. Of course that is simply not available to many of us at this time. I am grateful for this list and to those who are willing to give their time and effort. I may not continue with iodine at this point, but I been impressed enough with it to know that it is an option that I may pursue in the future. With a good doctor to supervise, I would be in heavy pursuit right now. I will continue to "lurk" on the list for any thing that comes up and peoples differing experiences are invaluable to me. Thanks to everyone who contributes. Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile. Try it now.
