Guest guest
If you have no gallbladder you will probably have problem digesting fat.. start using VIRGIN COCONUT OIL, in your diet, this will help you quite a bit, and give you important fatty acids..you can digest this without the gallbladder and liver . It must be virgin coconut oil ..not any old cheap coconut oil that may have been heated etc. AJD
Guest guest
---I had my gallbladder removed in December after suffering years of indigestion, and then one almighty bad attack, thought I was having a heart attack! Turns out I had enough stones to make a necklace so the nurse told me after!! I was told that there was no need to change my diet, and so have not. So far so good have had no problem at all. Wish I had had it removed sooner, as the indigestion has gone and I feel much better> In gallstones , " vanadeux " <vanadeux@...> wrote: > > If you have no gallbladder you will probably have problem digesting fat.. > > start using VIRGIN COCONUT OIL, in your diet, this will help you quite a bit, and give you important fatty acids..you can digest this without the gallbladder and liver . > > It must be virgin coconut oil ..not any old cheap coconut oil that may have been heated etc. > > AJD > >

Guest guest
well... i sense a theme here. I had my first attack last october, recent one just past weekend. I tried flushing.. diet and other things. The pain has increased since the flush and i am feel that this is the universe's way of telling me it is to time to thank my gall bladder for all it has one for me in my life, but to part ways. After looking back, i have had gall bladder issues since I gave birth. My lifestyle prior to giving birth was not the healthiest, but it seems that pregnancy put me over the top. And that was two years ago.. after talking to people about their gall bladders, trying things on this list.. i just made my decision and will be scheduling surgery. This list has been very informative and helpful.. so i thank all of you for that. And wishing you all good health. Guest guest
Kelley, I'm in the exact same boat. My stones were brought on by my pregnancy (2yrs ago), not my diet. I never had any issues until my son was about 4 months old. I had my first of several attacks(6+). It is very common after pregnancy, possibly due to the massive hormone fluctuations. From other moms I've heard the pain is worse then giving birth, but I wouldn't know because my son was taken by c-sect. For many reasons I too have decided to go ahead with surgery, which is scheduled for the 24th. I would rather do it effectively now then have an attack that won't quit and have emergency surgery or even worse get pregnant again and have it effect me during the pregnancy. Wouldn't you know that when I finally decide to have the surgery I haven't had any problems for about 6 months other then tenderness in the area, but I know they're in there just waiting. Fatty, spicy foods do not bring on an attack for me. I've been eating bad since the holidays and nothing. Have any of the women who are having surgery been told not to get pg soon after? I am still not looking forward to it, but I am preparing myself mentally. --- Kelley Worth <kelley@...> wrote: > well... i sense a theme here. Guest guest
Arlene, I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't even know what ICP was until I looked it up just now.
