Guest guest
Hi all, A friend of mine has had heart surgery and has been told not to have grapefruit. Is lemon as effective when doing a liver cleanse? What is the difference between the citrus juices when cleansing? Are lime and orange also effective? Grapefruit, to my knwoledge, thins the blood. If your friend had heart surgery, then he's probably already on blood thinners and sundry, and further thinning of the blood could cause a problem. I'm sure there could be other reasons too why he should avoid grapefruit. But this is the first reason that occcurs to me. -Fran ************************************** See what's new at http://www.aol.com
