Guest guest
JoAnne, Congrats on the weight loss, that's awesome! This is my main fear with trying a flush. That I do it and one gets stuck causing me to need Emergency treatment. I spoke to one acupuncturist who said she would not work on me at this stage because it could cause a blockage. I respected her much more then the other two that basically said come on in, we can fix it. --- JoAnne <Braveheartpoodle@...> wrote: > This is my story. Guest guest
just read your email about the stones getting stuck in the bile duct, this is why it is crucial to do colon cleanses before the cleanse and clean the kidneys first so the stones have a clear avenue to exit and not to get backed up, judykcleansingcoach On Jan 17, 2008, at 9:42 AM, JoAnne wrote: > This is my story. Guest guest
another way to make sure that a stone does not get stuck is to break up the stones with gold coin for 1 month before the liver cleanse On Jan 17, 2008, at 10:19 AM, 7774 wrote: > JoAnne, > > Congrats on the weight loss, that's awesome! Guest guest
A couple of things to keep in mind. We don't throw the plumbing away when it gets stopped up but we also don't throw stones down our sink either. There are times that the organs need to be removed and times when altering a diet is more appropriate. I just wanted to tell my situation. The gallbladder can not ALWAYS be saved. If you read my story, my gallbladder wasn't working at all. Can't fix something that doesn't work. Can't determine that it is shut down until surgery is performed. What works for one doesn't always work for another. We need to be mindful that this is indeed a fact. I am not telling people to keep it or have it out. I am just telling my story. good luck all. > > > This is my story. (The quick version) > > I lost 133 lbs. in 9 months time. Guest guest
How do you know your gallbladder was not working? Did your doctor tell you that? Did your surgeon tell you that? The surgeon that stands to make a chunk of cash from cutting out this vital organ? Don't listen to the car salesman when you are trying to decide whether to buy a new car or not. " Not working " doesn't mean that it will never work. For most people, they can get it working by changing their diet and possibly doing some flushes. Most people need to change their diet drastically and they are unwilling to do that. It takes some dedication and commitment to being healthy. When I had my GB problems, I did extensive research on the subject. One of the things that I learned for certain is that a VERY SMALL percentage of people actually need to have their gallbladder removed. Guest guest
I will assume your correct, that very few HAVE to have it out. My question is why does insurance readily pay for it? They denied a request to see an ear, nose and throat specialist due to excessive snoring, but didn't blink an eye when they approved a surgery. For someone like me, it's hard to justify that it's a diet issue when it was clearly a result of pregnancy and food has no bearning on when I have attacks. Let's say I do these flushes and get rid of the stones, eat well and then get pg again and the stones return. I am then risking greater harm to myself and my child due to problems with possible emergency surgery or possible problems with the liver (I had a friend who this was an issue for and they almost had to take her son at 31 weeks had they not been able to go in and break up the lodged stone, not good). ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
I don't know much about the insurance business. But the snoring probably falls into the same catagory as cosmetic surgery. They don't care if you wake up your partner at night! As for the pregnancy, not too knowledgable on that as I have not been there. But I do know that pregnancy exacerbates gall bladder problems. A lot of people think that they have a healthy GB because they have no pain when in fact a large percentage of Americans have silent gallstones. Quite possibly, it is just the pregnancy that just pushed you over the top. Can't advise you on this though. If you eat well the stones should not return. But eating well is the key. I thought that I ate fairly well. But after doing some extensive research, I found out much that I did not know about diet. What I thought was healthy was not healthy (foods with gluten, dairy, etc.).
Guest guest
I am not going to debate the comments on surgeons wanting money as I don't believe that all DR are out for the money only. As I stated before, I told my story and that is all. I think you have to listen to your body and know what is right for you. I think anti surgery people are as dangerous as people who believe that surgery is always the answer. Know when it is appropriate and when it is not. My diet can get no better. White meat fish and poultry. Egg whites only, no yolks. No dairy. No red meat or pork. No processed foods of any kind. Everything I eat is prepared by me in the raw form. No butter, no margarine, not even non stick cooking spray. Organic Balsamic vinegar with a little flaxseed or enova OO and that is it. Fresh fruit and veggies. TONS of veggies. I wish everyone well. I wish people were a little more conservative on their judgements as I don't know of any DR's on this group nor do I know of any DR that would diagnose over the internet via a post. Good Luck and listen to your body. I will be leaving the group as I don't fit the bill anymore. thanks > > I love the way you think and I agree 100%. Guest guest
Absolutely! That is something that I was missing in my road to good health. I just didn't know any better. Now, I consume good fats such as coconut oil, EVOO, flax oil, etc. on a daily basis, trying to get some with each meal.
