We had out UGIs ...

Good evening everyone Today my hubby and I (both banded with VG and at 9cc

each) had our upper GIs done. It took about 5 minutes before my barium swallow

would go down like they needed, but it did go down. I saw my films and saw my

band. It looks like it is where it should be, but of course the tech couldn't

say anything. I asked how my husband had done (he was done right before me) and

they said he did fine, but his band looked very low on his stomach and the

barium went right down. I saw his films also and it looks like his band is at

the bottom of his stomach with a larger upper stomach and a smaller lower one;

completely opposite of what we should have. Does this sound like a slip? He

can eat very large portions, but stops when he is full. His eating is nearly

what it was pre-op. Our doc will view the report and I'm taking her the films

on Wednesday when my fill is scheduled. I was just wondering about the

possibility of hubby having slipped. Sometimes being a loser is a GOOD
