Hi

I know I had previously advised that I had been having GB attacks and had

been diagnosed with GB Stones.

I had a severe attack last Tuesday night/Wednesday Morning with much pain,

high fever 38.2 C, nausea, vomiting of bile type substance (green and foul

smelling and tasting) which I could not stop. My husband took me to the

emergency room. I had further scans which confirmed that I had 5 large GB

Stones left in my liver (the many small stones had been evacuated over the

previous few days from previous scan) largest about 30mm from what the

Ultrasound Tech advised when measuring which was blocking the duct.

I was put on high levels of IV antibiotics for 2 days to work on the

infection and allow surgery. Surgery was done by keyhole on Friday morning

(4 incisions spots). Surgeon advised the GB had shrunken down around the

large stones and was bordering on me having to have open surgery. Fluid that

had leaked and caused the GB to adhere. But they removed luckily through

the keyhole.

So I am home. After being Nil by Mouth since Tuesday until yesterday

evening when I had plain fluids. Then a light breakfast this morning. I

was released at Noon. I am home now.

Can people who had had this experience give me any tips on where to go from

here? I will need to get probiotics following the antibiotics therapy I

had in hospital.. Where do I go with diet, follow up vitamin and mineral

additions. Herbs etc.

Looking forward to moving on to the best health I can be, dropping weight

from 100kg plus back to my old weight of 70kg (which I was very comfortable

with) for me. I am 5'2 1/2 tall person.

Regards

Jill

Operations or removal of gall bladder doesn't mean you have safe passage to

eating and drinking anything again. Here in new York City there's a doctor, who

after removal of gall bladder, had gall stones again on her kidney after 9

months. So, be careful of what you eat and drink. Evade from eating oily foods.

Evade from drinking liquours and beverages.

May be the short message with little detail or reference on the input was

referring to the pigment stones which are made up of bilirubin and calcium

salts which are found in bile. But these type of stones are approx only 20%

of gallstones..

Cholesterol stones are usually the green but sometimes white or yellow

stones approximately about 80% percent of gallstones

Kidney stones are usually Calcium oxalate stones.

When you check out the gallstones information regarding diet and flushing.

Then check the kidney stone information they can be contra to each other.

Surgical Methods vs. Non Surgical Methods. But I would think you still

need definite diagnosis via medical test to allow the direction you take to

be the best you can IMHO.

Perhaps a little more explanation would be beneficial to those who are

reading these emails as well as people are under stress when dealing with

health issues and being flippant like many MD's would not be the object of

such a list like this.

Regards

Jill.
