Guest guest
I come here and learn all sorts of interesting things, I look at the files and read up and go through all the research. I take the advice of Sheila and write down all my symptons whilst on Levothyroxine, I print off the letter that went to all the Endos and PCTs. I get a copy of the patient information for Armour. I spend weeks and weeks researching and learning, finding out the best Endos in my area. All this to ask my Dr 1 little question. Me: Dr I have printed a list of all the symptoms I am suffering from and I feel that the doseage of 200 is very high to be still suffering from these symptoms (I hand Dr a list). Is it possible for me to have a trial of Armour Thyroid? Dr: Yes Just like that! I almost feel disappointed that I was not able to impress the Dr with how through I have been in my research. Any how the upshot is I have just had a blood test (TSH and Antibodies) and should get the result this week, I have to write a letter authorising the Dr to divulge some of my medical details to enable the Dr to get the Armour and then I have 3 months to discover if it works better for me ....... I would never have dared ask without the help and information from here. Jacqui x
