Guest guest
If any of our organs were superfluous to requirements, we would not have them in the first place! I did not know the appendix is a lymphatic organ.. I know that the gallbladder is there to store bile, and to send out that bile when required to help with breaking down food for digestion in the small intesting..bile also helps to instigate peristalsis..the movement of the bowel to pass throught the food ... When there is no gallbladder..some people do have problems after the surgery..others don't , you could say its luck of the draw.. often there are issues with absorbing fat -- after there is no gallbladder..this has to be looked out for.. taking virgin coconut oil is good as it does not require bile for absorption.. I have read that there is just a steady drip drip of bile from the liver that goes down into the intestines..for some this could cause irritation and even loose bowels..not always..
