It seems that some people in this group take 10 times the amount of progesterone that Dr. Lee recommended. They think they need it. Another thing I've read that can cause high progesterone, besides overdosing on it, is high levels of mercury. For those who take progesterone and everything it turns into (cortisol, DHEA, testosterone, and estrogen), I've wondered if the mercury causes a problem with converting the progesterone to other substances, and that's why mercury can make progesterone high.
