Hi all,

Am reading a book that mentions leaky gut syndrome. Have any of you had problems

w/this and what did you do to cure it?

Also, does anyone drink mineral water to help w/the gerd symptoms?

Thanks for all,

Leaky gut can be caused by a myriad of things. Candida being one of them. It

is basically super porosity of the intestinal lining. As a general rule

astringents (walnut hull, geranium root, triphala, nutgall, etc.) are the

treatment because they complex proteins and tighten the tissue. That complexing

of proteins also tightens the cell wall of yeasts, funguses, bacterias and the

like limiting assimilation and interfering with the splitting of the cell wall

during mitosis. One must be careful in that the same astringency over a long

period of time can interfere with the assimilation in the human digestive tract

and thereby interfere with proper absorption so the use of the above needs to be

on an as needed basis only. -D

Natural antifungals will help with GERD. Also digestive aids.
