why don't my questions get posted?

I tried a long time ago to ask questions and they never got posted. I

gave up on this site. I just tried again a few days ago and have been

waiting for a chance to get an answer, and once again it was not

posted. Why?

Is it because I don't want all the messages sent to my private email? I

made the mistake of doing that once and got besieged by hundreds of

unwanted emails. I don't see why someone who wants to be a part of this

group should be kept out if they only want online messages.
