adrenal help needed please

Hi there

I am taking 2.5 mg of cortef 3 times aday at the moment. I want to

increase my armour due to hypo symtoms returning. I am not sure if this

would be a good idea yet until I get up to 15 or 20 mg aday of cortef.

I have looked though all the notes and cant find any info on this

subject.

Any advice would be well appreciated

Hi a

First, what dose of Armour are you taking right now and how long has it

been since your last increase, also, how do you feel on your present

dose of cortef and how long have you been taking it? Are you a patient

of Dr Peatfield's and if so, give him a call.

I heard from Bella, who tells me the minimum you should get to before increasing the Armour is 15mg but most people wait until they reach 20mg.
