Guest guest
I really haven't had any since the attack in January. except for bloating and gas. i have been eatting mainly bland foods. Alittle fat, a little dairy (cheese, cottage cheese)Silk milk. Lots and lots of veggies, I am going to start milk thistle. I went to the Surgeon today, because my doc reffered me. He said, I really don't " HAVE " to get my GB out. I have no stones or sludge. Hida Scan showed my GB function at 21%. I guess the range is 35-75 or so.... Surgeon said, he doesn't care what the number is if it's lower than 35.. means it's low functioning. You have gall bladder disease. He wasn't pushy at all, which was nice. I expected to be pushed into surgery. He's really NOT so worried since I don't have bad symptoms. he said it's my choice and I will know when the symptoms are bad enough. Also, i was told if I exercise and eat right i may never have to get it out. I am still researching, whether or not I want surgery. We are going on a cruise next month and he said if I wanted to I could have surgery in the morning and go home that afternoon (97%). He has done over 4000 surgeries. Sorry for rambling... just got all this info a little while ago... thanks for listening.
Guest guest
WANT surgery? What an interesting way to put it. Have you done any of the flushes? If your surgeon isn't pushing you to have surgery (which is amazing in itself), I would think you'd do everything in your power to save an organ that provides a valuable function to the body.
