gradual gallstone flush, etc.

Hello everyone. I'm back to getting daily e-mails again after a several month

absence. I have Lyme and had to concentrate on that for a while, but now my

gallbladder is again wanting me to pay more attention to it!!! :-)

I was taking BileMin daily for the GB, but now I think my h. pylori is flaring,

and I'm worried about doing the flush because I don't think I can handle all

that oil & lemon sitting in my stomach for even a few hours. I also have a

hiatal hernia.

I have a few questions and hope I can get ideas from some of you on them. Here

they are:

--Has anyone ever done a gradual flush where you drink 1 Tbsp each olive oil and

lemon in the a.m.? I heard the recipe for this was to increase this each week

until you're at 3 Tbsps each the third week. And then you're to stay on this

until the stools are no longer tarry. (I thought tarry stools meant you were

bleeding internally?!?)

--What about staying with 1Tbsp each oil & lemon indefinitely each morning. I

knew someone that had had her GB removed who used this protocol. Is it harmful

if you still have your gallbladder?

--If I do the standard flush, can I drink a sip of water after drinking the oil

& lemon? If I dilute the lemon and oil even a little bit, will that just

invalidate everything? What if I get a lot of burning acid. Can I take some

calcium carbonate just to keep my esophagus from burning?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts and ideas.

All the best,

Margherita

P.S. Happy Birthday Amber!!! My aunt just turned the same wonderful age on

Valentine's Day.
