Guest guest
IMHO this is the wrong place to ask about whether the flush is a scam or not. Good luck researching, but remember who your are asking. L > > f research about it. Guest guest
Hi I've been on this board since November I believe and no one has been able to tell me that they've done a flush and then gone back to get an ultrasound that confirms that the stones were " flushed " out. I was looking for that proof as well as I too was scared of a stone getting stuck during a flush. It seems that the line of thinking on this board is that if there are no symptoms then there are no problems. That being said you have to remember that many people have stones with no symptoms and many people who do have an attack will have just one and then never have another. So flushes or not they may have never had another problem. I think, do what works for you. ________________________________________________________________________________\ ____ Looking for last minute shopping deals? Guest guest
The concept that if there are no symptoms there is no problem is what gets people into the position of gallbladder disease in the first place. as has been discussed over the past 4 years that I have been on the group, the actual make up of the green blobs is completely immaterial, the proof is in the pudding: Do people have relief of their symptoms, does their state of health improve, and does the quality of life get better. The resounding answer for most, not all, is yes. There are other stones past by people during the flushes that are definitely calcifications. All one has to do is go to the pictures in the archives of curezone including the pictures of stones removed during gallbladder resections to see this. " Experts " who call the flushes a scam are usually those with heavy educations and zero experiences puffing their chests and parroting their paradigm. If a stone is interfering with the pancreatic duct it is therefore at the very bottom of the common bile duct and is a breath away from being released. If a stone was truly stuck there for a month while we wait for the surgeon to get back from vacation, she would not be alive to make decisions. This can be a very serious condition and stones stuck there and in the small intestine not only inhibit flow but can eat a whole through either the duct or intestine. What would be smarter, suffer while the surgeon is sipping margaritas or attempt a worthless flush. I vote for the worthless flush 'cuz the surgeon is worthless on vacation. -Dave ----- Original Message ----- From: 7774<mailto:tanya7774@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Wednesday, March 26, 2008 8:48 AM Subject: Re: New Member & Need Some Info Hi I've been on this board since November I believe and no one has been able to tell me that they've done a flush and then gone back to get an ultrasound that confirms that the stones were " flushed " out. Guest guest
I'm not a doctor and would never give medical advice to anyone other than myself...but I agree with Dave here. I can't say what will or won't work for someone else. As for the gall bladder flush, that worked for me, spectacularly. I don't know if it would work for anyone else, but I'm sure glad I learned about it. It saved me a lot of pain, money, and maybe even an unnecessary surgery. > > What would be smarter, suffer while the surgeon is sipping margaritas or attempt a worthless flush. Guest guest
Another thing to remember, along with all the other advice you are getting here, is that losing weight too fast is also a cause of GB problems. She is losing weight way too fast. Amber Well, it so happens the surgeon went on vacation so he has had her fasting on a liquid diet for nearly a MONTH and she has lost 1-2 lbs a day (so far she has lost over 28 lbs in 3 wks) . She has done the gallbladder flush for several years and always felt better afterwards. But the last 3 years she slacked off from doing so because of work & other issues. About 2 wks ago she suddenly doubled over in pain & I rushed her to ER. They said she probably had gotten a stone stuck in the pancreas which caused irritation & swelling. Within 72 hrs her enzymes went down and they sent her home on a liquid diet, telling her she would need (you guessed it) gallbladder surgery. Guest guest
One more thing. I am 47 years old. I started developing an " age spot " a.k.a. " liver spot " on my cheek bone. After some flushes, the spot dissappeared. A few months later, I started getting a spot on the side of my forehead. After just one flush this time, it dissappeared! Guest guest
Hi CRM, How about trying some epsom salt mixed with water or even better, grapefruit juice to allow the ducts to expand and let the stone pass. with out the oil component if she is afraid of the big push factor. It might not be enough but a lot of people have had success with using this method. The reason for allergies is that the liver is plugged and is in great need of flushing. The allergies will subside as the liver gets cleaned out and can process the toxins again. G Murray CRM wrote: Hi Everyone, I'm new here & really need some advice for my mother.
