This is interesting. How much juice and how much olive oil?

Did you pass any stones the next morning or in the following days? I had good

results with a morning drink of 1Tbsp each lemon juice and olive oil, but then

my GI tract (which was already inflamed, possibly due to h. pylori) got more

inflamed. It has since calmed down some.

I'm hoping to do a regular flush some time before summer--or at least go back to

the gradual flush for a while.

Subject: Olive oil and grapefruit juice

Group:

A couple of years ago, I had classic symptoms of gall stones. They worsened

to the point of the beginnings of jaundice. I was very concerned that I

would be losing my gall bladder (or worse).

In doing some research, I learned of the homeopathic remedy of drinking

olive oil and grapefruit juice before bedtime--an unappetizing prospect, but

far preferable to surgery!

To make a long story short, the treatment worked like magic. The pain and

other symptoms literally disappeared overnight. To say that I was relieved

is a huge understatement.

To this day, I repeat the " flush " every few months, and have been

trouble-free. I don't know that it would work for everyone, but I am glad

that I gave it a try. It saved me a lot of time, money, and pain.

Best wishes to all,

I used a formula I'd picked up here:

http://curezone.com/gallstones/digest1.asp

Half a cup of olive oil and half a cup of grapefruit juice. I used a

salad cruet to shake it up it and drink from--worked pretty well,

actually.

The best tip was to hold my nose while drinking it. A weird

nightcap, to be sure.

The next day I passed some stones, including a pretty big one. I'm

convinced it was the one that had been giving me trouble. Good

riddance.

dang, I did a flush last night. My first evacuation today was solid

so no visible stones. I don't think this has happened before in the

10+ times I have done it. I wonder what I did wrong. I hope I get

something from it, I had a very queezy night last night. I keep doing

this because of the testimonials I read, but even when the outcome

looks great I never feel any better for it. Did you even fast or use

the epsom salt with your grapefruit/olive oil concoction?

Greg:

Sorry to hear it's not working too well for you.

I had had a light breakfast (toast) and skipped lunch the day of the

flush; I was in too much pain to eat a lot anyway. No epsom salts.

This is my first try with the cleanse and, since I haven't started yet (planned

to do it today), after reading about the Zap daily and the parasite killing

program am not too sure about the cleanse. I don't want to get sicker but the

Zap sounds really odd to me and the other program would take several weeks. Any

suggestions? Oh, the cleanse doesn't say anything about whether I can drink

anything before beginning at 2: p m. Thanks in advance for your help.

There are many different kinds of cleanses and, I believe, most have been

published here before. If you are new to this list and want to see some

suggestions, send me a note privately (if you want) and I'll forward some

previous info to you.

Cleanse will not hurt you - just be sure herbs are potent, that is

good grade - Are u familiar with Dr 's cleanse? I've had success

with 's regime- I felt an appreciable difference.

good luck

I appreciate you answering my mail. I went ahead with the cleanse (Epsom

salts/apple juice/olive oil/lemon juice). Unbelievable what I passed thru

the night and still am. Do you have info about how often this should be

done? I have printed many pages of info and read nothing about how often to

do the cleanse. By the way, I am on coumadin i.e. the reason for not using

grapefruit juice. I don't know how this will effect my Pro-Time but will

have it checked within the week to be sure. If you have info about that I

would appreciate that too.

Sincerely,

Ilyene

Glad it helped...and I don't know if there's a prescribed interval for

the flush, but I try to do it once every six to nine months. In

general, I feel so much better that I don't want to subject myself to

that yucky nightcap, but an ounce of prevention, etc. etc.

In terms of other interactions, I'm afraid I couldn't hazard a guess.

Hopefully someone else in the group can offer some insight.

After my GB attack, I did 3 flushes about a month apart. After that, my N.D.

said I needed to " let my gallbladder rest " and she didn't want me to do any

more. I think you just need to let your body tell you when or if you should do

any more.
