Guest guest
Yes, I feel like this, but just sometimes. When that happens, I take some extra A-F Betafood tablets and, so far, it's always solved the problem. Amber My problem is that I have point tenderness over GB area that is chronic. It's been there for about 5 months now. I also experience general fullness under the ribs. I'm not in severe pain, it's more of a daily annoyance and reminder that my GB does not work. elizabeth . Guest guest
It's a product from Standard Process Labs. All their supplements are made from food. A-F Betafood is a proprietary blend of: carrot root, dried beet leaf juice, beet root, oat flour, calcium lactate, defatted wheat germ, magnesium citrate, bovine prostate, nutritional yeast, bovine liver, bovine kidney, alfalfa flour, bovine orchic extract, bovine liver fat extract, flaxseed oil extract, mixed tocopherols (soy), and soybean lecithin. Yum. Whew, had to use a magnifying glass to read and type all that. Amber Just curious as to what A-F Betafood tablets are and what they do. Guest guest
Have you tried using Cayenne to increase blood flow to the liver? It sounds as if something may be stagnant in your liver. Just a thought. Guest guest
> > > > just do it Hi , Why not just try doing a cleanse? It's really not that difficult to do, and it's an incredible purge. It's an amazing feeling really, and what if you did one and realized that you actually did have some blockage in your gall bladder and/or liver, and you saw sludge and stones pass out of your body? And what if doing something so simple, so inexpensive and so cleansing actually helped to ease your pain? Just because no stones or sludge showed up on your tests, doesn't necessarily mean none of this stuff is inside of you. Why not give this cleanse a bash and see what you see? Would you at least consider giving a liver flush a try? It's really a very powerful and effective internal cleansing technique, and if you do it, you might actually end up being surprised, and maybe even amazed at what comes out of you. Guest guest
I'm not at all opposed to doing a flush-I was just curious to hear other people's experiences that have the same gallbladder problems as I do. Telling me to " just do it " is not very helpful or insightful. I am trying to educate myself about the gallbladder and alternative methods of healing. > > > > > > just do it > > Hi , > > Why not just try doing a cleanse? Guest guest
Hi icbluu, I'm mike t. and I have had similar pains for 5 years. I believe the pain is just part of a low functioning gallbladder. I find I have the most trouble when trying to sleep between 3 AM and 5AM. It is not uncommon for me to wake up at this time. My gallbladder is trying to function at this time. I have found that my control over food is limited to low amounts of fats, lots of fruits and veggies, small amounts of meats, dairy and anything with sugar, cholesterol, caffiene, alcohol or any other kind of drink. I end up drinking a lot more water. Exercise and plenty of sleep is helping me. I stay away from medication and suppliments. As long as I control the food I eat, I do well. I believe flushes and gallbadder suppliments are good. I have tried doing both. I am not in a hurry to cure my gallbladder. It took years to get into trouble and I am not looking for a quick fix. But I don't want to cut it out unless it becomes a health problem. I keep my weight down and that has helped some. But most of all, the information on the site and the discussions within the group are a great help. Good luck. mike t. icbluu <icbluu@...> wrote: I'm not at all opposed to doing a flush-I was just curious to hear other people's experiences that have the same gallbladder problems as I do. Guest guest
I have the same full feeling all the time too. I have done the cleanse about 15 times. I passed tons of " stones " but never felt much different. greg > > I'm not at all opposed to doing a flush-I was just curious to hear > other people's experiences that have the same gallbladder problems as I do. > Telling me to " just do it " is not very helpful or insightful. Guest guest
icbluu, I've been on this list since November I believe and have asked all of the same questions and I really haven't gotten any direct answers. From the answers I have been able to gather no one has confimed that they have done flushes, or anything else, and then gotten a follow-up ultrasound which confirmed less stones. I think the line of thinking on this board is that if there are no symptoms then there are no problems. --- icbluu <icbluu@...> wrote: > I'm not at all opposed to doing a flush-I was just > curious to hearicbluu > other people's experiences that have the same > gallbladder problems as I do. > Telling me to " just do it " is not very helpful or > insightful. Guest guest
My first and only GB attack occurred 3/12/06, so I'm almost to my 2 year anniversary. I did 3 flushes in the beginning and passed stones daily for a year. Then it tapered down. I'm not passing any now. I had a sonogram in the beginning and the technician said I had " innumerable " stones. I had a second sonogram after passing hundreds of stones and was given the same result. I asked my doctor about it and he told me that the body continues to make stones. I've learned what I can and cannot eat. If I feel any discomfort in the GB area, I take extra A-F Betafood and, so far, that has solved my problem. As long as I'm not having any pain, I think I'm not going to worry about it any more. I hope this helps. Amber I've been on this list since November I believe and have asked all of the same questions and I really haven't gotten any direct answers. From the answers I have been able to gather no one has confimed that they have done flushes, or anything else, and then gotten a follow-up ultrasound which confirmed less stones. . Guest guest
I have not done a flush yet. To get rid of the pain and fullness feeling I have done Castor Oil packs over the gallbladder area; and Quercetin with Bromelain (for inflammation); I take Super Enzymes by NOW; from Standard Process I take Cholocol 2 and A-F Beta food; I also started a Chinese herb called Soothe Liver; plus several other supplements in addition to being more careful about what I eat. I have been muscle tested by a nutritionist for the amounts and frequencies so that everything I take is exactly what my body needs. I have not had a gallbladder attack since I've been seeing her, nor have I had any more pain or fullness feelings. The only thing missing is an exercise program - which I know is really important, I just need to get there. I have been reluctant to do the flush because of nursing, being sleep deprived chronically, and the fasting and everything. When I was actually in much pain, I did the packs daily (now I only do it about once a week) and took more Quercitin than I am taking now. The Soothe Liver and Cholocol 2 and A-F Beta Food have also been adjusted down since my last attack. Regards, cynthia
Guest guest
My nutritionist also muscle tests me and I've been able to tone down the number of supplements I had been taking because of those results. Very interesting. I don't understand why you would do any fasting if you are nursing. As far as exercise goes, I've read that we just need to find something that we really enjoy doing. I used to do many different things but have recently streamlined it down to Pilates and the Rebounder. And when our weather cooperates, riding my horse and walking outdoors. Guest guest
I would say the opposite - do the flushes whether you have symptoms or not. Previously there was a gentleman on this site named 'Will'. I have not seen him post for maybe 2 years. He had al ot of information - you can research his posts, very knowledgeable. I have been doing my cleansings for 10 years., benn on here for 4 -5 years I still subscribed to this listing for the fun of it. I previously took the herbs but now I just flush regularly. Guest guest
I'd love some cookies and ice cream Jay, how nice of you to ask. Unfortunately I'm told that cookies and ice cream are not the best things for my gallbladder at the moment... I was under the impression that this board is for people to DISCUSS and SHARE their personal experiences with natural methods of healing their gallbladders. I am fairly new to the group so maybe it's ad nauseum to you, but not to me. So thank you to everyone else who was kind enough to share their experiences. " In conjunction with its partner organ, the gall bladder, the liver acts as a decision-maker. In addition, the liver is associated with warmth and kindness on the positive end of the emotional spectrum and anger and hostility on the negative. " I'd say you are on the negative end of the spectrum???? > > > > just do it
Guest guest
there are alternatives to ice cream - plus you can have a little ice cream - sherbet, rice cream, etc. You can research what has been said here and come up to speed quickly.
