Guest guest
The last two times I've tried green tea, I've had a Tachycardia attack. Black tea doesn't bother me. I have no idea why the difference. Anyway I'm scared to try green tea any more. Amber Green tea is fine. Apple juice is excellent as long as you are not diabetic. -D . Guest guest
--- Hi, I like to drink coffee, but I don't because of the caffiene. I also like to drink coco, but I don't because of the caffiene. I try to drink a lot of water like you. I make kit wines for a living. I try to keep my alcohol consumption low because it is also hard on the gallbladder, but I do like a glass over a meal or conversation. I only drink socially. I hardly drink at all. But I like herbal teas that are caffiene free. Sometimes I drink water with a drop of peppermint oil and a little honey. Or spice up my water with a slice of lemmon or lime. This helps me try to drink more water. I think this is a problem for me. I have been trying to drink more water for some time. It is working and I think it can only do me good. I drink about eight glasses a day, but I do a fair amount of physical work. I like drinking smoothies every once in a while. But I find water is the most important. Good luck with your drinks, Mike t. In gallstones , <admilby@...> wrote: > > > I've been realllly good. Since the attack i've only > drank cold water. Guest guest
The anthocyanadins in red wine are very good for liver and gallbladder. This does not justify their consumption through this means. The alcohol is destructive to the liver in large amounts. It does seem that a SMALL amount of alcohol is not bad for the liver though. The volatile oils in the peppermint that mentioned are highly antispasmotic to the smooth muscle of the gallbladder as well as liver detoxifying. you can also get these in soft gel, enterically coated as a supplement for specific applications. The coffee that mentioned is one of the highest sources of cholegeric acids and is quite stimulating to the production of bile (a good thing). Double tall mochas with hazelnut and amaretto syrup and whipped cream defeats the purpose though. -D ----- Original Message ----- From: admilby@...<mailto:admilby@...> gallstones <mailto:gallstones > Sent: Monday, February 25, 2008 8:21 PM Subject: Re: What other than water do you drink? Thanks ! I'll try the peppermint, Sounds different but good. I've been so good NOT drinking diet cokes. I haven't drank alcohol in about 10 years. As soon as I found out I was pregnant with my first son, just never started back. Is wine good for your gall bladder. I know it is for your heart, in moderation of course.
