---Hi , I am a big believer in first aid. But my ear disease

was very serious and required a no salt diet and some pretty strong

anti-viral drugs. I would not have taken them if it wasn't so

serious. I have not taken anti-viral medication in 25 years. They

are very strong drugs that are a last resort. But back then

wholestic medicine was far less mainstream. Today I am a big

believer in the multi-prong approach. Since first aid is the first

level, I'd recommend Tea Tree Oil. Olsen has a wonderful

book and the suggestion I'll make comes directly from her. Earaches

Condition: passages leading from the nose to the throat become

enlarged, inflamed and painful. Supplies: Tea Tree Oil, olive oil,

dropper and cotton. Remedy: Warm 1/4 cup of olive oil with 4-5

drops of Tea Tree Oil; drop small amount gently into ear, tilting

head to one side for a minute, then repeat other ear if necessary.

Put small piece of cotton in ear to absorb oil. Repeat remedy until

improved. Note: Always dilute Tea Tree Oil before using in ear

canal. Be careful not to use any sharp instruments, which could do

damage to the ear canal. P.S. She has a stronger remedy for ear

infections. If you need it, just e-mail me. Best reguards, mike t.
