This is a portion of a response to someone who emailed about the above topics.

I hope it is of value to others in the group. -D

Wild cherry bark or apricot pit will help to keep your gallbladder out of

spasm. It is hard to determine over the internet the exact cause of your pain

but assuming it is spasm of the gallbladder. Corydalis root (yang hu suo) is an

excellent pain reliever. Dandelion root, yellow dock, or or gentian would all

be good chooses to try for bile flow. All but the corydalis would probably be

available at a place like Whole Foods. The corydalis would be a Chinese herb

store. If you have access to a store that carries ayurvedic herbs, bhumy

amalaki would be available there.

Here is something that you can try that might be very effective for the

pain. Put the middle of the palm of your left hand right over where it hurts

the most. Put the heel of your right hand just above the crease between your

groin and your leg on the right side (the fold when you bend your leg at the

hip), with your fingers going over the fold pointing down your leg on the

inside. " all pain is blocked or stagnant chi or blood " in Chinese medicine.

This works exceptionally well sometimes. Usually takes 5 minutes or so. I

hope this helps.

Always, in all ways, -Dave
