The author of Don't Shoot the Dog is Pryor and it is a really good

NICE book. Even my kids have enjoyed it; sometimes when someone is having a

really bad day and the other kids are getting irritated, I just say

" Extinction! " to them and they are quiet (occasionally muttering that they

would like to extinct whoever is causing the trouble). I am having a

teenager nearby work with Putter starting tomorrow after school who is

thinking about using Putter as his science project, which I suggested and I

think I will suggest that he reads this book as it is so easy to get (and

fun too!)
