Guest guest
One thing I have found that helps with the GB is HCL/betine added with all your meals. And another thing that helps with the GB is Castor oil packs on the liver area. Take a wool or cotton cloth and soak it with the oil, turn on the heating pad to get it warming. Rub oil into the belly area of the liver/GB and then place the oil cloth over this, over this place a piece of plastic to keep the oil off the clothes. Put the heating pad over all of this and turn it on high. Let it get as hot as you can stand, then turn down till it cools a bit, the turn up. Do this every day for about 0 minutes to an hour, as it helps to soften the liver and ease the pain of the GB. This will make the cleanse easier and get better results. You need to do a Flush at least once a month. There is a program on the web you can purchase and follow a GB 7 day cleanse. The web site for it is www.ener-chi.com Sounds pretty awesome. Guest guest
Hi all: Thanks a lot for very useful suggestions. , thanks for the info on HCL/betine and Castor oil Heat packs. I had heard about , but did not get an idea how to do them. Thanks again for the detailed description. I will definitely try them. Amber, thanks for your suggestion on A-f Beta foods. I'am taking 2 tablets twice daily along with meals. When I'am having discomfort, I remember taking More than 2, but I will keep this in mind. Herbladie, Yes you are right I need to few more flushes. I was trying to maintain pain-free days in between my flushes. Actually I did try to do the flush over the last weekend, but it did not work out well. I was in fasting for 2 days taking just the apple juice. But somehow could take in the Olive oil/Lemon Juice combo and gave up after a few sips. I will make it up again. Thanks a lot for advice to take more water. I will try to do that. Jess, Thanks for suggesting the Fruits diet when in pain. When in pain, I normally eating anything at all.So I may also be missing the daily needed nutrients for the body. Thanks a lot again for everyone who spent some time to write for me. Guest guest
Rajesh: Thanks for your acknowledgement. From my own experiences, I only drink 2 glasses of apple juice and 1 glass of water after every heavy meal. That's 4 to 6 glasses of apple juice a day, aside from drinking water in between meals and after meals. These 2 glasses of apple juice in every heavy meal are the ones that flushes oil content of the food I ate. So, in my own belief, I'm actually flushing my system on the daily basis, when these apple juice drink leads me (OR FORCES ME) to go to the bathroom. This must be the reason why my system is clean all the time, and never need a weekly or monthly flush. Guest guest
My immediate thought was - why are you having HEAVY meals? That's not good for anyone. Amber Thanks for your acknowledgement. These 2 glasses of apple juice in every heavy meal are the ones that flushes oil content of the food I ate. So, in my own belief, Jess . Guest guest
SPEAKING OF HEAVY MEALS Have you heard this saying " As we get older- with every decade we pass thru- we should be consuming 10% less food than the decade before " - also, eating small light meals will help your gallbladder good luck FB On Apr 3, 2008, at 6:11 AM, Amber wrote: > My immediate thought was - why are you having HEAVY meals? Guest guest
Jess~If you've read any of the Fit for Life books it's a good idea to not combine fruit with any other food, and that includes juice. It ferments in the stomach and can cause much gas and give you even more problems. Not to mention drinking all that liquid after meals and watering down your digestive enzymes, what little we have, is not good. Drink your water only, half an hour before meals, and in- between meals of course. And try to save all your fruit for in the morning when the body needs to rest and not digest. When you feed your body much more than fruit in the morning it can't detoxify and get rid of all the left-over stuff you assimilate at night. After you've eaten fruit in the A.M. you need to wait half an hour for it to digest and then you can eat other foods. A good rule of thumb for eating fruit is to wait 3 hours after carbs and veggies and 8 hours after protein and fat. There are exceptions of course, and remember that everything containing seeds is a fruit, so squash, peppers, tomatoes, avocado are all fruit and will digest within 20-30 minutes. Just use common sense and your body will tell you when you're hungry and what to eat. If you have gallbladder/liver problems, everything you eat should have some live enzymes. Your body is live and needs live food to survive and heal, not dead animal flesh, etc. It's hard to give up the meat, tho, and just reading the book VEGAN convinced me to quit. MAD COWBOY is a good one, too. Good luck, and try to get the book Fit for Life for starters. Amazon has it all the time for like a buck or something. If you've never read Hulda books, a good one of hers is the Cure for all Diseases. Just take out what doesn't apply to you and consider the rest. Her Liver Cleanse is the only one I can do. Kind Regards, herbladie > > SPEAKING OF HEAVY MEALS > > Have you heard this saying > > " As we get older- with every decade we pass thru- we should be > consuming 10% less food than the decade before " - also, eating small > light meals will help your gallbladder > > good luck > > FB > > > On Apr 3, 2008, at 6:11 AM, Amber wrote: > > > My immediate thought was - why are you having HEAVY meals? Guest guest
: I should have not added the word " heavy, " but " regular " - yeah regular meal. Meaning breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I really don't eat a lot anymore, because I have read that this will cause too much activity to the system, including the gall bladder. So, yeah, I would like to clarify that for my previous posting the " heavy meals " I was referring to were the regular meals in a day.
