Guest guest
Hello everyone, I have just received a letter from my consultant. The end bit says: " you do have a relatively loe basal cortisol of 127nmol/L and an unrecordable serum ACTH. In view of the latter findings I think it important that we should informally exclude pituitary deficiency and I have organised pituitary function testing " . I have just had my insulin test (stress test) and will have the result in a few days. The blood test from last week: Cortisol 127nmol/L 08:00hr - 09:00hr -> 185 - 624 nmol/L 23:00hr - 24:00hr -> <100 nmol/L ACTH <1.1 ng/L (0 - 50) What " could " this mean????
