Guest guest
All these posts about limiting eggs and meat are interesting to me. I was diagnosed with gallstones sixteen months ago. I was told to limit sugar and white flour. I have also been avoiding commercial vegetable oils and trans fats. I take good cod liver oil and coconut oil. Those good fats keep the inflammation down. I have not had another attack. I think the good fats are more important in my diet than lots of protein, though I don't limit protein. I would be very wary of protein powders because of their potential to be oxidized or rancid. I have also been eating plenty of fermented foods, expecially beets. Just my two cents, __________________________________________________

Guest guest
I was also diagnosed a few years ago and have kept it in control - Beets ( steamed and grated raw in salads) are very very good for both the GB & liver as are avocados, dandelion greens and dandelion tincture - but if u do have another attack, and if u do not already know- A-F Beta food capsules from Standard Process have proved very beneficial in controlling symptoms all the best FB On Apr 11, 2008, at 3:34 PM, Agnew wrote: > All these posts about limiting eggs and meat are interesting to me. > I was diagnosed with gallstones sixteen months ago. Guest guest
You need magnesium..it does sooo soo much in the body ..it gets ignored by many who tout Calcium all the time... Long term magnesium deficiency can contribute to stone formation as calcium precipitates out of the blood and forms stones..gallstones can be calfified they are not always just cholesterol.. magnesium relaxes..but why wait until you do a cleanse to relax those gallducts..and any other ducts come to think of it.. rub yourself daily with magnesium oil..and see the benefits.. we have been using this method to get magnesium into the body now for just over a week and already can see a difference body feels more relaxed..aches and pains easing ..so many more benefits.. I believe globalightnetwork in the USA sell Magnesium oil..its not too expensive. Anne
