Recently I have seen show with Opra and Dr.Oz. He told that niacin,

senna fruit extract, valerian, iron and mistletoe are toxic to liver.

He recommend take lecithin from eggs or wheat germ to help liver,

zink, Milk thistle or dandelion.

I am intolerant this ingredients though I need to clean liver. I was

taking iron for 2 years and I knew it can increase reflux but I didn't

know about liver. Last thing i want is to damage liver which is

already not so great. If liver impaired it can't detoxify body and

increase chances for cancer.

I switched to fresh liver from grass fed animals which is the best

source of iron.

While Mehmet Oz is a great doctor and a great proponent of alternative

medicines, he is not the best expert of such. His recommendations are well

taken but his toxicity references to mistletoe (European mistletoe-Viscus album)

and senna may not. -Dave
