Welcome to Traylor.

I am a nurse living in Mesquite, a suburb of Dallas, also with CMT. I

personally have not checked into any trials/research, but the MDA clinic,

locally, is affiliated with UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. The

MDA clinic number is 214-480-0016 or scheduling is 214-648-9574. It is

located in the Neurology Dept. of the Aston Center at 5323 Harry Hines

Blvd., Dallas, TX 75235-9132. If you contact them I am sure they can tell

you about any trials, research, etc.

You are going to an excellent law school! Hang in there and rest when you

can!

Hello Traylor,

Please excuse my tardiness in welcoming you to . I am so pleased that you

have enjoyed being a member and find the information to be useful. Stay tuned

because there is always valuable information and advise from fellow CMTers.

Baylor Law School....good for you. Two members of my son's graduating class

(May 2002) are now attending Baylor University in Waco; one hopes to enter law

school. We live in East Texas, so I know exactly where Baylor is!

There is a branch of Baylor Medical School in Dallas I believe. I am not sure

if they are doing studies regarding CMT at this time. Perhaps one of our

members in the Dallas metro area could enlighten you with that info. I have CMT

(age 42, married female with one biological son and three step children). I had

soft tissue surgery (on both feet) performed by Dr. Brodsky at Baylor

Hospital in Dallas. I am very satisfied with the results.

Again welcome, and I think if any of our members who live in Texas and know

about any CMT trial studies etc.; they will respond.

Good luck,
