Guest guest
Bob, I live in Wisconsin and the same thing happened to me early in 2001, even though our professions are quite different. I put in my resignation notice to a company where I had worked for 22 years. My employer, upon learning of my reason to resign, encouraged me to file for company disability - I did so and was immediately approved. I also had no problem getting supplemental Social Security disability. The key to success in being awarded disability is that you must have a doctor who understands your disease, can verify your symptoms, supports you in your decision to quit work, and backs you 100%. Call your Social Security office today and get the ball rolling - you deserve some help.
