Guest guest
You could tell social security that the swimming pool is physical therapy. You could further justify the spa as therapeutic for sore muscles and tightening. Hydro therapy. You can have the neurologist and orthopaedic specialist write a script. you can say that the water therapy does not put stress on his lower extremities and the water supports his weight and allows him to build up his muscles and over compnesate. It is very important for a child with CMT to have exercise that they can handle that is not counter productive. The spa allows him to wind down and loosen sore muscles and possible spasms. These are some of things you can tell them. You can also write the pool off as a medical expense on your insurance.
