I'm Jim. I was just Dx'd last fall, have

muscle spasms, numbness,(dumbness)and balance issues.

I'm 51 and have been an active sucker.

Unfortunately too often diagnosis is difficult. Your

neuro's actions mirrored mine.

I'm not a medicine person either but caved in to a

trial of trileptal, an anti-convulsant. It helps a

little but has no dramatic effect except for reducing

my tinnitus.

Your symptoms somewhat mirror mine in age of onset and

severity and that intriquies me.

You found a wonderful group!
