Guest guest
,In 1979 I had carpel Tunnel. I could not pick up anything. The Doctor had been talking about tendon transfers in my hands, so he did that as well as Carpel. It worked. However sometimes when I sleep on my hands they try to shut down again. My doctor recommended hand splints - the ones with metal in the palm. They are not real uncomfortable and seem to work. Talk with your doc about this. Hope it works. Guest guest
Hi Sharon, I too have experienced problems with my hands and arms over three years, yesterday I had another extensive EMG and found my myelin sic rapidly disappearing, my hands hurt so much more than my feet ever did. I am trying Creatine and Gabitril. The Gabitril is increased one week at a time. Maybe this will ease the discomfort/excuse the misspelled words. Joyce Do you want to know more about CMT?
