My apologies for being so unlearned, on my behalf trying to do my best to keep up with all the emails on all the boards I am on, so I ask for a little leniency in considering my question.

After some research, I think our little one's thyroid problem (recent) can be traced to the green tea in her multiple vitamin (fluoride) and her preschool giving her the water there (fluoridated) and not the water that we agreed upon, geesh!

Anyway, have dried up both the sources of flouride and am considering adding a supplement I have purchased, so would like all of your opinions as to whether this is advisable.

I have from Source Naturals, a potassium iodide supplement, 32. 5 mgs. Seems a little high of a dosage for a 5.3 year old, but the bottle says to give 1-2 tablets a day for 10 days to children. And is this the correct form of iodine to add?

Thanks in advance to all who reply.
