I decided it was easier to start a new topic for each quesiton to

keep it straight lol I'm on a roll now!

Since having the Radical Hysterectomy I have started having hot

flashes and some mood swings. Before Surgery I asked my Oncologist

would I need hormone theraphy after this procedure he said no. That

my fat cells produce added Estrogen and that was partly why I

developed Uterine Cancer. He said I was probably already having some

menopause even if I wasn't aware of it at 46 yrs old and shouldn't

feel much different after the hysterectomy. Well that isn't what has

happened. While I am thankful the hot flashes are mild I have them

daily and I was wondering how this is going to affect my weight

loss... Is there any affect on it?

I have read up on what to do to make it through menopause easier and

diet and exercise are key. I have begun to add in a few more of the

foods that help.. mainly certain types of veggies.

Also was told that primrose is very helpful. Fish oils a must.

which I am doing. problem is .. all the primrose I find is in a

large casule.. which I mentioned is a concern for me on the last

post.

Mainly I just would like to know if there menopause hinders weight

loss and what can I do? maybe I should call my WLS?

see I'm loopier than EVER! LOL

trying to stay proactive in my health. Would appreciate any help

here I can get!
