Guest guest
Hi. My name is Don, I live in Canada. I'm 40 years old and was diagnosed with CMT earlier this year. I race canoes, so I went to my Doctor thinking I had some sort of pinched nerves causing numbness in my fingers and the bottoms of my feet. He sent me for tests, etc..... This is the second group I've belonged to that dealt with CMT. The first one just had too many e-mails, even in digest version. Many of them didn't deal with CMT (I'm not complaining!) so I spent a lot of time sorting through non-CMT stuff. I'm glad for this forum. I've read lots of your past e-mails and appreciate the level of discussion. I think the sunday quotes are a great thing. I'm always looking for any alternative methods of treating CMT, and am presently trying some supplements I read about in research on another kind of neuropathy. I'm trying Co-enzyme Q-10, Alpha Lipoic acid, and Gamma Lineolic acid. I saw references here to a book by A. Senneff, " Nutrients for Neuropathy " . Has anyone read it, and does it talk specifically about CMT-related neuropathy? I have lots of other questions. I'll pace them out so as not to overwhelm everyone. Thanks for letting me be part of this forum. don
