Guest guest
Hello Karon, I am sorry if I didn't communicate well in my last post. I do not wear AFOs. Because I am a toe walker with functioning calf muscles, when I refer to 'orthotics' what I mean is that I had custom molded and fitted orthotic inserts made to put INSIDE my shoes, so the feet would walk right and feel good. Nothing goes up the legs. Nobody can even see these. Have you tried New Balance shoes? Or possibly Eccos? I just got some new ones that are working very well. ~ Gretchen kedleson@... wrote: > What do your AFOs look like?
Guest guest
I do not wear AFOs anymore. I had my ankles fused. I have found some comfortable shoes, by NIOT. They have removable foot beds for orthotics, so if you are diabetic, and your doc reccomends them, Medicare will pay for part of them.
