No AFOs

Hello Karon,

I am sorry if I didn't communicate well in my last post. I do not wear

AFOs. Because I am a toe walker with functioning calf muscles, when I

refer to 'orthotics' what I mean is that I had custom molded and fitted

orthotic inserts made to put INSIDE my shoes, so the feet would walk

right and feel good. Nothing goes up the legs. Nobody can even see

these. Have you tried New Balance shoes? Or possibly Eccos? I just got

some new ones that are working very well. ~ Gretchen

I do not wear AFOs anymore. I had my ankles fused. I have found some

comfortable shoes, by NIOT. They have removable foot beds for

orthotics, so if you are diabetic, and your doc reccomends them,

Medicare will pay for part of them.
