In TCM terms, lith carb lowers TCM kidney yang, which would also foster hypothyroid and other lowered hormones and neurotransmitters. Lithium Orotate is effective at just 15-25% the amount used in lith carb, with no side effects. Lith oro is commonly used with very high dose fish oil. The literature has been misleading on lith oro, since it compared lith oro at the same high amount as used in lith carb. So the small amount of lith oro needed to be effective for stability was not really tested and appreciated as such, leading Drs and other readers to erroneously dismiss lith oro altogether. Guest guest
Carol, Thank you so much for your e-mail. I am taking Lithium Orotate and getting good results. I joined the group you mentioned in your post and will continue researching before deciding how to proceed. I greatly apreciate this group and the fact that I am not alone in my quest to take control of my health naturally. Take care. and On Jun 13, 2006, at 3:21 PM, cbwillis9 wrote:> I am pretty sure that Lithium is a goitrogen, that is, it interferes >with the absorption of Iodine.
