Guest guest
I found Dr Cabot's program through this group. After studying her books, I decided this was for me~~and have been following it VERY religiously for 8 weeks , then fairly well for another 6 weeks. my doctor wanted to put me on Lipitor back in June, but I pursuaded her to wait for a while and let me try a natural approach. I am dealing with a newly diagnosed case of Diabetes2, along with low functioning thyroid, so I've had to modify some of her eating program(atemtping to meld it with a diabetic plan), but keeping the " fat " part the same. today I received fabulous news from the doctor's office........I was able to bring my cholesterol level down from 240 to 180 in this time frame. I am elated.......I've not seen this low a number for a long while. My triglycerides are still not low, so I need to check on this and figure out what I am still doing wrong. Anyway, I wanted to share with everyone that some of these programs really do help some digestive concerns. I 've lost 25 lbs along with this too......and the continual bloating I had is 75% better! I cannot thank this group enough for the free information shared. I have prided myself on studying natural health for a long time, but have learned so much here also!! Thank you again, Jacque PS...I've not done a flush yet...still trying to get the courage to do one or two of them!!

Guest guest
In a message dated 10/6/00 10:22:45 AM Eastern Daylight Time, mattyoshea@... writes: << Which book, supplements and or program of Dr. Cabot's did you buy? >> Matty, Here are the websites: http://sandracabot.com/ http://www.whas.com.au/ I purchased the Liver Cleansing Diet first, the followed up with the other book,The Healthy Liver and Bowel Book. There is only one eating program which is detailed in her first book, although the second book discusses some modifications of the plan to follow when one is dealing with other health conditions. I did purchase her Livatone supplements(both kinds mentioned on her websites); it only took a few days to receive the supplement from Australia (and shipping was reasonable). Guest guest
That is great. I, too, have been following her advice. I just completed my 13th or 14th, losing count here, and am going to do her Liver Cleansing Diet. Do you take her Liver Tonic? laura ----- Original Message ----- From: <ShadyNapa@...> <gallstonesegroups> Sent: Thursday, October 05, 2000 9:03 PM Subject: Re: Re: Dr Cabot's program > I found Dr Cabot's program through this group. Guest guest
Congratulations on your health report!!! Good work! Which book, supplements and or program of Dr. Cabot's did you buy? Don't worry about the flush, it's not painfull and you will wonder, after you have done it, why you waited so long. Don't eat after 2 PM and drink water til you follow the flush program. Eating too much that day will make you sick. Best to you, Matty --- ShadyNapa@... wrote: > I found Dr Cabot's program through this group.
