Guest guest
As I have searched and searched and searched and cannot find an answer as to WHO invented the TSH test, I NEED to know if I am correct in thinking that I am having trouble finding articles because there probably are none of significance. Nor can I find if there was a leader of the concept of switching from clinical diagnosis completely to laboratory diagnosis. Am I correct in thinking this was done by CONSENSUS of endocrinologists in 1975 and that there have been NO STUDIES, either before or after. I cannot believe this, so if anybody can prove me wrong and cite medical research and studies I might have missed - I would be delighted....or would I? The implications of finding this was done by consensus ONLY would be appalling considering the thousands of sufferers who are not being given a diagnosis because their TSH is within a range that has been increased this past couple of years, for what reason, we do not know.
