Guest guest
Hi ... The only problem with the sugar in the apple juice is IF you have Candida and that it does give you extra calories. Unfortunately, I am a sugar-aholic so I don't even notice it. Your question is interesting as I am quite sure that older recipes called for apple cider vinegar as the primary ingredient. My mother used to mix this with water and drink it. I believe both have the acids to help soften the stones, but only the apple juice really gets the body flowing. Is there such a thing as unsweetened apple juice? THere may be some with reduced sugars... but I would go for the organic and take the sugars anyday! ken
Guest guest
Hi Ken, I am a sugar-aholic too....but sometimes when I drink sweet drinks the upperpart of my stomache starts hurting in a BIG way!!!!!! Really painful. And I was experiencing this with the apple juice-not every time tho. However, I'd rather suffer tho than to drink apple cider vinegar. At one time I was trying to follow Bragg's advice and drink it daily. Used to love the stuff. Now I cannot take it! Too gross. Thanks for the input, Hi ...The only problem with the sugar in the apple juice is IF you have Candida and that it does give you extra calories.
