Sjögren's/hypothyroid connection

Hi everyone

I have just dragged myself(bad few days) to the opticians to try and

sort my new glasses out.

The topic of Sjögren's came up, as I mentioned that my eyes (well my

good one) was very dry and giving me vision problems. He mentioned

that I could have Sjögren's.

Now I saw Dr P in November who dix hypothyorid, (trying to get my GP

to agree isn't going down very well). My question is, is there a

link with Sjögren's and hypothyroid and what blodd tests does it

come under.

I'm fed up of asking for a full thyroid panel but only been giving

the TSH one. Can anyone tell me what I actually need so I can yet

again ask?

I'd love to be able to have comfy eyes as I did before I was ill?

Does every symptom go away for good once your treated? I'm still on

the supplements suggested by Dr P but not taking anything esle, sort

of felt better a few days after taking them but now feeling worse

than ever!
