The heel cords start to tighten up. The heel cord stretches are the correct therapy they work better in water for me. Good Luck. enny
Guest guest
Hi Friends- Well, I finally found out what all the heel pain was from. The podiatrist said I have achillies tendonitis (sp?) He says it's not CMT related, which is good I guess. I'm on a one week regimine of " icing the heck out of it " , ibuprofin for inflamation, and calf stretching exercises. He also added a pad to the bottom of my orthotic to raise it some to relieve tension on the tendon. And I have to say that this is all helping quite a bit. He said if it is not cleared up in 10 days then he will have to resort to something else. Which he didn't say what it was, but I'm hoping not to have to go there.
